The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s workplace is cautioning consumers about unsolicited phone call from fraud artists asserting to be from a government or non-profit wellness organization. The callers inform consumers that they are entitled to compensation as a result of a recent surgical treatment. Consumers run the threat of identity burglary and credit card fraudulence by supplying details.
Although the caller might inquire about surgical treatment or a certain medical treatment, the Attorney General’s Health Care Section, who looked out to the rip-off by a 3rd party clinical company, does not believe that these callers have access to customers’ medical details. Rather, they are hoping customers will certainly provide it to them.
